Implementation concept – training

GM places new demands on staff. Gender competence has only seldom been communicated in the general training phase up to now. So staff should be supported and assisted in their task of successfully implementing GM. An excellent way of going this is by providing training courses for staff. On the one hand, training courses are necessary for the strategy GM and should be complemented with the offer of qualifications in gender aspects of their specialist work. A credible implementation concept should therefore include plans for providing measures for qualifying staff. In this connection, it is also necessary to think about the kind of training to offer, e.g. taking into account the existing organizational and training culture. It can make sense in one organization to provide qualifications for all levels in the hierarchy, while in another organization training should take place strictly separated according the functional level. The outcome of such considerations should be included in the implementation concept. You can find tips on specific training courses for GM here.
