The GenderCompetenceCenter provides consultancy services in particular for Federal Government Ministers free of charge, and, if there is sufficient capacity, other Gender Mainstreaming actors. This includes advice on the selection of external consultants for matters such as planning training courses. Strategic consultancy provides support in GM matters as part of organisational development, in preparing and optimising implementation concepts and in the deployment of tools in day-to-day practice.

“GM in Action” workshops (Workshops "GM konkret") communicate in situ actual experiences of the Federal Government with GM tools within the framework of an implementation strategy. Staff are supported in this way in the continuing application of the tools in their day-to-day work on the basis of their own projects.

“Expert information on GM” (Fachinformation GM) is a new consultancy service offered by the GenderCompetenceCenter for staff in the federal administrative service. The intention is to support staff by means of the targeted transmission of knowledge about implementation in the process of implementing Gender Mainstreaming in their areas of responsibility.
