The GenderCompetenceCenter contributes to the dissemination of knowledge gained from gender research to a wider public.

The GenderCompetenceCenter organises the series of public lectures known as the Gender Lectures[German link] in conjunction with the Centre for Transdisciplinary Gender Studies (ZtG). These lectures deal with gender equality issues such as feminist economy approaches, but also cover current gender research findings on topics such as masculinity, femininity and intersexuality.

We offer courses within the framework of the Gender Studies programme and conferences and discussions [German link] on specific topics and for specific actors.
